Soundside Getaway is a peaceful retreat on the soundside island of Colington in the town of Kill Devil Hills. Located just 3.5 miles from the nearest public beach access. You'll enjoy the quiet evenings and still be right in the middle of everything that makes a beach vacation fun! High speed WiFi and spacious parking are included. We can fit your fishing boat or trailer! Come visit in October to enjoy, Jazz Festival, Corvette Festival, Bluegrass Festival or the Seafood Festival!

Linens, bath towels, and hand towels included! Soundside Getaway has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, 2 Beds, Sleeps 4, 750 sq ft. There is an open concept living and kitchen area that brings the light and airy feeling of being on the coast. The only amenity not on the main floor is laundry; the washer and dryer are located downstairs. A key will grant you access to the sliding door. 40" Smart TVs with Roku streaming sticks are located in each bedroom and there is a 43" in the living room. Front screened porch: wicker table, chair and bench. There are also 4 stackable chairs that can be used on the front or rear decks. Kitchen is fully stocked, plus: blender, coffee bar with combo drip coffee/coffee pods, electric kettle, and French press. The driveway can accommodate up to 4 average size vehicles. There is no overflow parking available. Help yourselves to the beach chairs and mats downstairs.

Soundside Getaway is a charming home nestled in a quiet soundside neighborhood on Colington Island. Located just 3.5 miles from the beach front, you will be able to relax. Life is hard, the beach helps.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire home except the owner's closet downstairs. The property is not shared with any other guests or tenants. Guests will be given a unique keyless entry door lock code prior to check in date. Community amenities about 1 mile away: Outdoor salt water pool, kiddie pool, spacious sound beach, park, playground, tennis and basketball courts. These are all in the same area, and available to our guests at no extra charge. *There is a $2 deposit required for each member of your party to receive a wristband at the gate for Colington Harbour. You will get the deposit back when you return the wristband at the end of your stay. **Community Pool Dates are Memorial Day - Labor Day. Please note community pool dates are subject to change.
